A large chunk of what we do is help our customers build up a really great sounding HiFi system over a number of years. Not everyone is wealthy enough to buy the best in a single purchase, but the greatest pleasure can be had by building a system up, one upgrade at a time. This system has been decades in the making and has largely been built from immaculate Ex-Demonstration stock or traded in components from other customers doing the same.
Todays setup comprises:
Linn Sondek LP12 Klimax specification record deck, with Radikal 2 motor / power supply, Keel subchassis and Cirkus bearing with a Linn Kandid cartridge. Lehmann Decade pre-amp.
Melco N1Z audiophile music server. (Future upgrade – add Melco S-100 audiophile switch)
Linn Klimax DS music streamer with the latest Organik DAC upgrade
Naim 552 pre-amplifier (with DR power supply)
Naim NAP300 power amplifier (with DR power supply)
Focal Sopra No2 loudspeakers
The wall mounted TV links into the system for ultimate TV sound.
Support system : Custom Design, Milan Reference 10 HiFi-4 rack x 3
“The Custom Design supports are very nice and I like the modular nature of each rack. It makes it fairly easy to install, offers flexibility to accommodate TVs etc and makes future changes relatively straightforward. The sound is also noticeably cleaner as well, which I assume is due to improved vibration management.” Andy S.
