Plus, it actually beats the deal we saw during this year’s Prime Day by $5. That’s a rarity! Based on that, I’m confident that you won’t see a better deal at any other point this month.

Deals on the Nintendo Switch are always one of the most sought-after during the Black Friday sales as I’m sure many of you are on the hunt for a bargain on the iconic games console. But Nintendo has taken the stress out of it over the last few years as it’s consistently launched the same excellent value bundle. And, would you look at that, it’s back again in 2023.
The bundle features a Nintendo Switch console, a digital copy of Mario Kart 8 Deluxe and a three-month Switch Online membership all for $299. This represents a saving of around $70 compared to buying all three separately so it’s excellent value for money if you are looking to buy the popular Nintendo console for the holidays.

The Amazon Devices deals just keep on coming
There’s definitely no need to wait around if you plan to pick up one of Amazon’s popular streaming devices this Black Friday as the Fire TV Stick is slashed to its cheapest price ever for non-Prime members right now.
I recommend this as a simple and affordable way to stream video in high definition on any TV with an HDMI port.
In fact, that’s exactly what we said in our Amazon Fire TV Stick review, too. It’s solid, capable, has a decent interface and a great range of app support – even though it’s missing the ultra-high definition 4K support of the more powerful streaming sticks. The accessibility features were handy, too, including voice controls to make navigation easier and connect with other smart home devices.

The new Galaxy S23 FE – a good deal or one to skip?
Samsung, despite hosting a huge early Black Friday sale, has somehow managed to sneak in a brand new phone release this past week with the latest Galaxy S23 FE.
As a brief overview, the new Samsung Galaxy S23 FE features a powerful Snapdragon 8 Gen 1 chipset, a 6.4-inch Dynamic AMOLED display with 120Hz adaptive refresh rate, and a camera array that’s almost the same as the standard Galaxy S23. Rarely for devices in its price range ($629), it’s also capable of recording 8K footage and features a 3x optical zoom. It’s shaping up to be a strong mid-range offering, although we’re still in the process of reviewing it here at TechRadar.
Right now, one of the strongest promotions is at Amazon, where you can save $30 on an unlocked handset and get a free $100 Amazon Gift Card included. You can also choose from a variety of bundles that include the Samsung Galaxy Buds FE, too.

New M3 chip is here? Doesn’t matter. Matt Hanson still recommends the MacBook Air M1
He spent most of the October Prime Day telling us why the MacBook Air M1 was such a good buy. And now’s he’s at it again in the early Black Friday sales. Even though the new M3 chip is coming to the latest MacBook Pro models, our managing editor of computing still believe the MacBook Air M1 is a fantastic and powerful all-around laptop at this record-low price.
“Although it was first released three years ago, it’s still a brilliant laptop, offering excellent performance in a thin and light body,” he says. “And, with this discount, it’s now better value than ever.”

To buy now or to wait? That’s the question.
You may be looking at these early Black Friday deals and thinking whether it’s definitely worth buying now or waiting for a couple of weeks to see if there are any further discounts. Here’s my view.
Over the last few years, we’ve seen that Black Friday takes place over weeks rather than a single day. Long gone is the wild rush to pick up a very limited bargain on the day itself as the shopping event is now more staggered and spread out. That means prices you see at the start of the month are likely to remain the same all the way through to Black Friday.
Of course, new deals will launch all the time, but data from Adobe shows that deals and discounts will escalate from November 1 – that’s today – and the peak is expected from November 17 through to Cyber Monday. So, we’re being very selective when it comes to offers at the minute, picking ones we’re confident won’t be cheaper or offer fantastic value for money today.
Also, it’s worth keeping an eye on retailers as many such as Best Buy and Target offer a price match guarantee from today. That means, if any product you buy right now is actually cheaper later in the Black Friday period, they will refund you the difference. Use that to buy with confidence and have some extra assurance should there be any unexpected further price cuts on your chosen products.

While it’s a slightly older model, we still adore the Ninja Foodi DZ550 Dual Zone Air Fryer – even more so now it’s dropped to its lowest price ever on Amazon.
It’s got two trays that can independently cook different dishes at the same time and boasts two features that massively improve the ease of use; Match Cook, which copies settings across both baskets, and Smart Finish, which ensures both sides finish at the same time, even when using different settings.
Right now, you can get 48% off this speedy cooker, which we awarded 5 stars in our review. Air fryer technology hasn’t come along too far since this device was released in 2020, so if you’re not bothered by having a slightly dated model, this is an incredible deal you don’t want to miss.

Hi-sense a bargain here
If you’re looking for a big-screen budget display, you can’t get much better than this massive 75-inch Hisense 4K TV on sale for just $698 – that’s even cheaper than it was on Prime Day.
In our Hisense U6 Series review, we praised it for its excellent picture quality at an affordable price. You get support for both Dolby Vision and HDR10+ to improve colors and lighting, plus the Google Assistant for hands-free voice control and Game Mode Plus for the smoothest gaming experience.

Meet your starter tablet
If you’ve yet to take the plunge on getting an iPad or simply want a second Apple tablet that you can take on rough and ready trips, may I recommend this Amazon deal on the 10.2-inch iPad?
It’s not the latest in iPad design, with two thick bezels – though I feel these are good for resting fingers on when watching movies or playing games – but it’s still a great device. The A13 Bionic chip is plenty powerful for most iPadOS tasks and I still appreciate the solid home button with Touch ID built in.
As Apple’s app curation is so thorough, you’re guaranteed to find a host of great apps to run on this iPad. Add in Apple Arcade and you’ve got a rather neat portable games console. At this discount price, it’s a no-brainer for an entry-level or secondary tablet.

Watch out for these sub-par AirPods deals
Ahh the Apple AirPods – always a Black Friday favorite. It’s no surprise that retailers are including these popular products in their early Black Friday deals. Word to the wise, however – some of the current discounts aren’t record-breaking lows.
The AirPods 2 are Apple’s cheapest earbuds, and Amazon has the 2nd-generation AirPods on sale for just $99. While good value, this is actually $20 off the record-low price so it’s probably better to hold off picking these up. We would, however, recommend the standard 2nd gen AirPods if you’re looking for a pair of buds that just cover the basics without the bells and whistles.
Amazon’s early Black Friday deals also include the 3rd generation AirPods on sale for $149.99 right now – a good price, but one that’s still $10 off the record low. These are a much newer model than the 2nd gen but we’ve still got hope that we’ll see a noteworthy deal over Black Friday. Again, these are a good choice for a basic pair of buds, although they still feature the new spatial audio technology.
Deals advice from a coffee snob
Every year we faithfully round up the best Black Friday coffee maker deals for our readers. Mostly, in part, because everyone loves a cup of joe in the morning. Fellow deals editor Alex Whitelock, however, likes to narrow down the choices to espresso machines that use grounds rather than capsules.
There’s nothing wrong with capsules per se but the plastic waste from the individual pods really, really puts him off – even if you can recycle them. The capsules tend to be pricey and he also thinks the coffee doesn’t taste that good. Although, that’s obviously down to personal taste.
So, his advice for caffeine lovers on Black Friday is to consider picking up an espresso machine that can handle grounds rather than capsules. Something like the De’Longhi Stilosa is a good model to consider since it’s relatively small and cheap, but can still handle the ground coffee of your choice.

Today’s best air fryer deal in the UK
Will the air fryer craze ever calm down? It still doesn’t seem likely, as the handy kitchen gadgets continue to sell like hotcakes. I wonder how good it would be to cook hot cakes… Anyway, you can definitely use one to make all sorts of food quicker, easier and healthier than a conventional oven – and often save energy.
If you’ve not got one yet then now’s a great time to try the tech for yourself as the Ninja Air Fryer AF100UK is just £5 off its lowest price ever at Amazon. The best robot vacuum cleaner at its lowest-ever price
Considering this robot vacuum is still relatively new, we’re thrilled to see the iRobot Roomba Combo j7 Plus at its lowest-ever price, slashing an immense $300 from its list price.
We think this is one of the best robot vacuums available right now, with self-emptying technology making it a cut above the rest. One of the only criticisms we had in our iRobot Roomba Combo j7 Plus review was that it’s just too expensive. At this price though, we really can’t complain as much.
Without a doubt, this is the pre-Black Friday Roomba deal to snap up, and we highly doubt the price will go any lower during the sales later this month.

Samsung’s roughest, toughest Galaxy Watch is 20% off
Last year, Samsung debuted a pair of new devices: the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 and the Samsung Galaxy Watch 5 Pro. The latter is a rugged trail watch with a high bezel, titanium construction, advanced GPS features like Track Back (to return you safely to the start of the route) and a bigger battery, it’s Samsung’s Apple Watch Ultra equivalent – and it even launched first.
It’s a great watch, possibly the best choice for an active Samsung phone user, and it’s got a chunky $100 off the asking price at Amazon, bringing it down to just $399.99. With ECG, body composition and sleep tracking capabilities, it’s a comprehensive health tool in addition to a training aid and fully-fledged smartwatch. A highly recommended and superb Black Friday smartwatch deal at this early stage.

The best headphones at the cheapest price we’ve ever seen
The Sony WH-1000XM5s are simply the newest and best in Sony’s class-leading wireless over-ear lineup. The older XM4 was outstanding, the XM3 before it was excellent, and it’ll come as little surprise to know that Sony’s XM5 proposition is also incredibly hard to beat
Especially now that they’re $70 off and down to the lowest price they’ve been since launch – beating the previous record low by $20. Get them if you want some of the best noise-cancelling headphones money can buy from a trusted retailer – at a previously unseen price.

One of the best OLED TVs you can buy is down to a record-low
If you want one of the best TVs of the year, you can’t get much better than the LG C3 OLED, and Amazon has the 65-inch model on sale for $1,596.99. That’s a whopping $900 discount and a record-low price. It’s such a good deal bc you’re getting a stunning 2023 OLED display for less than $2,000 – in fact, the 2022 65-inch LG C2 OLED TV is on sale for $1,546.99 at Amazon, just $50 less than today’s deal on the LG C3. It’s one of the best TV bargains I’ve spotted in today’s early Black Friday deals if you’re looking for a high-end OLED display.
