July has been a busy month for HiFi Cinema!
Despite holidays and dodgy weather, we’ve been busy installing and demonstrating some great systems. We’ve reduced the prices of lots of our ex-demonstration and second user equipment, and have been trying to clear out and tidy up our showrooms. Naim 300 series
The addition of the NSC222, new NAP250 and NPX300 at the start of this year have been extended with a new Streaming Player (NSS-333 – £7,900 ) new Preamplifier (NAC-332 – £7,900 ), and new power amplifier (NAP-350 – £12,000 for two channels). Contact us if you’re interested in having a listen to these high end units. We’re planning on an Open Evening to demonstrate these when we get our units in September so watch this space!

DALI Epikore
What do you do when you create a new loudspeaker that sits between the great Epicon range and the awesome new Kore speakers, and the new speaker borrows pedigree from both – you call it the Epikore of course! – The Epikore 11 was revealed at the Munich High-End show, these are still not for the short pocketed at £40,000, however promise great things if you don’t have the space for the Kore speakers.

Linn Selekt DSM range
The old Akurate level equipment from Linn is now obsolete, and has been replaced with the Selekt DSM range. Offering you a flexible choice in system creation with two Hub choices, 3 DAC choices, and options for source only, integrated amplifiers, Bi-amping and even surround sound decoding and output. If you fancying upgrading from an Akurate DS/DSM, there is up to £3500 trade-in available – contact us for details!

Naim Classic Upgrade Cable offer
The advent of the new Classic 200 and 300 series products, have created an opportunity to upgrade your existing “black box” classic products from Naim. Linn 360 speakers
Back in March, Linn launched their new Flagship loudspeakers the 360 – claimed by Linn to be “audibly invisible” and “visually remarkable”, these are roughly the same size as their previous flagship the Klimax 350. Priced from £55,000 for the PWAB version (Passive With Active Bass) to £87,500 for the fully Aktiv Exakt version, these are awesome speakers!

Melco N5 server added to range
The Melco N5-H50 is a 5Tb HDD version of their flagship N1 Music Server. Sporting all new electronics, new main board, SFP port for optical connectivity, new low-noise, high-grade linear internal power supply, this is the server for the serious music collector.

Celebrating the 50th anniversary of the Linn LP12 is the LP12-50
Given a subtle but delightful makeover by Sir Jony Ive (ex chief design officer at Apple) and his team at LoveFrom, this beauty will set you back £50,000 and can only be reserved at Linn directly – get in quick though, as only 250 of these will be made! We’ll be completely delighted to build and install one for you.

Velodyne subwoofers
Velodyne were founded in 1983 and have specialised in Subwoofer design. They claim to have more patents in subwoofer design that any other company, and with new German owners since 2019, are now available again in the UK,
Velodyne have models ranging from the small Impact X 10 £895 up to the DD18+ at £8,395 covering most peoples requirements and budgets. We have a DD12+ (shown above) in our showroom – priced at £5,395, this packs a punch with its lower -3db point at 17Hz! – it comes with Velodyne’s advanced sub setup kit including a microphone to automatically measure your room to get the best possible results, a range of presets for quick selection of different requirements and software to fine-tune the response too.
