In the remainder of 2024 alone, many exciting new games are still set to arrive – with some even likely to land on our list of best PS5 games. It’s a great time to be a PS5 owner for sure, especially when you consider that there’s even more to follow in late 2024 and into 2025.

New PS5 games 2024: this year’s most anticipated releases

Here’s a short list of what are arguably 2024’s biggest and most anticipated new PS5 games. These all have release dates, which will be updated if there are delays or cancellations.

May

May is fairly quiet for PS5 releases, though it does see the return of wacky party-fighter MultiVersus. Here’s what you’ll be playing:

June

The long-awaited DLC for Elden Ring arrives in June, alongside a huge update to Destiny 2. Here’s what’s coming out on PS5 in June:
