BeatKORs are the latest collection to launch on KORUS, PIXELYNX’s AI music platform

As part of PIXELYNX’s music platform called KORUS, BeatKOR allows creators and fans to remix music from various artists through interactive features on the KORUS platform.

BeatKOR is the latest addition to PIXELYNX’s collection of KORs, digital companions used by creators and fans to generate AI-powered music on the KORUS platform. The firm recently introduced GenKOR, the first public version of KORs, allowing fans to remix content from mau5trap artists like Lamorn, Speaker Honey, and Volaris and save up to 10 remixed tracks for free. With the release of Genesis, users can also purchase and download their tracks to build their artist portfolio and share their creations.

“BeatKOR enables artists who opt in to share their stem files with fans, granting them the power to explore their own creativity through remixing,” said Robb McDaniels, CEO of The Beatport Group.

McDaniels continued, “Empowering artists to shape the narrative of artist-fan collaboration while protecting their rights is central to our philosophy with BeatKOR and everything we do at Beatport.”

“There is a lot of discussion about how AI will impact musicians, particularly concerning its effect on artists’ careers and the artist-fan connection. Our partnership with Beatport is introducing a new format of personalized music experiences that aims to empower artists and enhance the value of their music within their community. BeatKOR is now available,” said Inder Phull, CEO of PIXELYNX.

The KOR companions assist users in creating new songs using officially-licensed music stems and tracks referred to as Artist DNA. Following the announcement, PIXELYNX will release the BeatKOR collection on September 13, featuring officially licensed stems and tracks from prominent artists including Jitwam, Elle Shimada, Brux, and others.

Users will have the ability to create personalized remixes, engage with music communities through voting, trading, remixing, and sharing music. Users can choose to “own” their song by putting it on the blockchain, granting them commercial rights to release and utilize their music. Korus will also assist users in distributing their music on DSPs through official partnerships.

To acquire a BeatKOR, users can visit PIXELYNX’s KORUS website, where they can start remixing, saving, and downloading their outputs to share within the KORUS ecosystem.
